re: Hello All

Hey David,
Man, have you come to the right place. There are a few
digesters that have the E36 M3 with forced induction, they
will probably respond to you directly. On this list you will see
and hear most everything imaginable. For the most part,
most digesters are much more interested in cool looks and
advice on repairs or simple upgrades than,
"put your eyeballs in the back of your head acceleration".
Part of the problem is money. The turbo or super set up you
refer to only cost about 5-8 grand. This puts it out of reach for most
of us. I for one can only admire an individual who knows how to get
REAL or MAX performance.
I mean no disrespect for the stock M3, for I drive a lowly '93 325is
with an automatic transmission. This is how I drive, turn key, stomp
gas, get erection, turn and stomp brakes, then comes ejaculation!!!
Obviously, I'm a happy man. BMW's will do that to you.
Now for the dark side of this list,--- Introducing---THE---ONE
- ---AND ONLY--- MARK KIBORT. He has single handily set
the engineering world on its rear. He has the HIGH PERFORMANCE
invention of a life time. What could it be might you ask?
How about a remote control type helicopter fan motor? That's right,
installed in front of the air box this amazing device can knock a
whole .17 to .25 seconds off lap times on some track somewhere.
Details are sketchy. But I'm sure you will hear more from him
on this neck breaking acceleration device. (this is sarcasm)
He has been using this digest for free global advertising for months.
In case your wondering this is against all rules and regulations, even
in defiance of the owner (Richard Welty) asking him to stop.
I suggest e-mailing him directly for a laugh of a lifetime or a
Jerry Springer type response. Oh yeah its only about $300.00 Ha Ha.

Don't get me wrong, there a lot of people with a wealth of accurate
information, help, used parts, good times ect.. on this list. I for one
can't offer you great technical help, but I know right from wrong,
good from bad, and can smell rat (you mark) a mile away.
If the price tag of forced induction isn't a problem I would also
recommend a big brake kit (see steve d'. at the ultimate garage) he
knows everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Stopping is after all
just as important or more important than going faster than the
speed of light. (not to say the stock brakes are inadequate)
There is also a FAQ or two which may answer some of your questions.
Welcome to the bwm-digest.
