My reading of the original posting was that the poster was registering his
disgust with the attitude and language of the wrecking yard owner who
disparaged his employee for working on MLK day. The use of offensive
language was in paraphrase of the owner. Although it was ill considered to
use that word on a group so prone to ad hominem, I don't think the
original poster intended or expected offense.
