Should I buy a 320i

Hi,

I need a winter beater car.

Are older BMWs good for this?

Specifically a 320i.

Is the 320i a good car or a problem car? 

Since it is still rear wheel drive and without ASC+T would this be a bad choice
for a winter car, even with snows?
