    Hello,
despite what others *may* say or caution you against, the 2.7L ETA cast
crank will work fine.  If you use a Schrick (or other) cam you should have a
header as well.
I'd stick to the 272 cam.....the 288 kills too much bottom end on a heavy
"ic", unless you install a 3.91 or 4.10 rear end.
