e46 vs e36...

Has anyone done an indepth comparison between the e46 and e36:
acceleration, handling (sport package and regular suspension), mpg,
ergonomics?

Also, does anyone have info on the E46 coupe or the M3:  when,
specs?

BTW My first opinion of the E46 is its more like Lexus, less like
BMW.

(Sorry if this has been answered already. I tried searching the
archives, but didn't find anything.)
