Cold Start Problems E30 (325ix)

I am trying again with my cold start problem  My 325ix has failed to start
on a couple of occasions at altitude in very cold (10 degree F.) weather.
The problem seems to be flooding, too much fuel injected.  The cold start
sequence on these cars is through the Motronic 1.1 control box.  Otherwise
the car runs great.  Has someone with a 325i* experienced cold start
problems and found a solution.
