E30 Front End Noise

My 89 325i is starting to make a sort of grinding rumbling sound from the
right front when braking to a stop. 

It only happens just as the car is coming to a stop; I have Checked the Pads
they look ok, the wheel bearings were both replaced about a year ago, and
besides my mechanic rode in the car and said he doesn't thing the noise is
bearings...

Any Ideas?
