Convert E39 Chome Trim to Shadow Trim?

Hi all,

Has anyone converted their E39 chrome trim to Shadow Trim? Or, does
anyone know the procedures involved to remove and replace the chrome
moldings around the windows? Is there a service manual that contains
these procedures?

It appears that removing the lower body & bumper rubber moldings is
straight forward and easy to do.
