Tach not always working
temp gauge reading hot as soon as key turned on, car cold
changed batteries on printed circuit board (instrument cluster),  did
not see a seperate SI board ,
is it part of the main inst cluster on this model?

Radio only works when lights are on and car on,  if left to sit for
several days it drains the
battery,  so pretty sure the radio is shorted out (the main power
connection),  also when braking
can here pop on speakers but i think that is because of the short
putting drain on that circuit,
sometimes the fuse has blown.  need new radio anyway,
    To install another stereo what should i do about the special
connectors on the radio and should i
go ahead and bypass the amp,  i think the system sounds pretty good now.
