Help with buying a used 96' M3

I am looking at a 96' M3 at a dealership.

What are some of the trouble areas to look at?
Anything generally wrong with the 96's?
Edmunds.com rates the retail value of a 96' with options at around $30,500.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
