Good chance your problem of wet carpet in the front passenger floorboard is
caused by a clogged sunroof drain.  There's a better chance that its caused
by dried up windshield sealant and/or a shrunken gasket.  All my water
problems disappeared when I had the windshield R/R'ed.  Cost was $40 each
(did front and back).
