<FS> E28 '84 533i drivetrain (San Diego Area Only)

Anyone interested in upgrading their E28 ETA engine and automatic for a
3.2/3.5 motronic engine and a 5-speed (260/5) transmission?

Engine: resealed @ 120,000. All new sensors. New fuel rail, fuel regulator,
fuel injectors ($600), alternator, rebuilt p/s pump, 71 C thermostat, and
all new ignition parts (6-WR9LS, cap, rotor, & wires).  The engine has
145,000 miles.

Head: Redone by Monster Motor works of Escondido, CA., plus new
eccentrics/eccentric bolt and nuts, oil rail, and oil sensor.  

Transmission: 260/5 Getrag.  New front and rear seals, new Sach's clutch
kit, new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.  Flywheel has been
"step" resurfaced.

If an overhaul is done, all necessary parts will be included - exhaust
system, wiring harness, computer, radiator, pedal assembly, instrument
cluster, console, brackets, etc.  You will need to purchase a "new" shifter
and linkage, as this one is beyond "sloppy."

All parts stated as "new" will have an accompanying receipt (mostly
Bavarian Autosport) and may still fall under warranty.  The engine is
solid.  Burns almost no oil, and averages 23 MPG under spirited driving.
29 MPG is the best I received when driving to L.V. (Flat, and straight roads).

I will help with any work as needed and provided the necessary tools to do
