gauge E30

Hi bimmers,
I'm just wondering if it's possible to add a RPM gauge to my dash, on 
the spot where it should be (next to my spedometer)is now a analog 
clock.
I would very much like to have such a gauge.
Does anybody know if it's possible, and from what type BMW should I 
install it?
I now have a E30 318 "87 (euro version)
I would also like to share something with you, yesterday I had my *love* 
brought down 40mm, the new behavior is great.
