I just got a new Douglas (original equipment) battery for my '87 325is for
$51.
Includes 60 month warranty.  Correct size, foot, and vent tube.

Douglas's website leaves a bit to be desired, but try one of their
wholesalers
who can connect you up with a local distributor.
