<e30> Barking mad speedo

Hello all

I've just checked the archive and seen that e30's have intermittent speedo probs,
but this seems a little different.

With my foot planted on the accelerator my speedo reads zero if I back all the way
off it reads the correct speed. When cruising it trys to do both and flickers all
over the place which is driving me nuts!

Anyone got any ideas?
