Bubba Chip makes a good suggestion. So, in the spirit of Holiday Giving, my
tip:
These cars are built to go fast, handle well, and stop on a dime. But all
the machine in the world is worthless to a marginal operator. Off the
factory floor, BMW's are more car than most of us have ever driven. Their
limits far exceed those of most their drivers.
Before investing in the potential of the car, invest in the potential of the
driver. Driving schools are one of the best benefits of car clubs, the BMW
CCA included. It is a skill you can take anywhere, driving any car. No one
can steal it or key it or damage the skill and experience of the driver.
Tricking out a car is a fun hobby, but driving it without skill is akin to
giving an expensive, beautifully polished, loaded handgun to a 5 year old.
Happy Holidays to all!
