[E36] M3 Instrument Cluster

Hi Guys,
           I stumbled upon a used M3 instrument cluster.  Was wandering how
difficult it would to transplant that thingy onto a non-M3 E36.  I believe
the M3 has the Oil Temperature (or Oil Pressure) Guage instead of the MPG
thingy.  Would I require a oil temperature (or pressure) sender, or do all
our BMWs come pre-wired for that. Besides that, will the speedometer, tacho,
fuel and coolant temperature, etc be a direct swap?  Has anyone performed
this transplant before?  Thanking all of you for the sound advice and useful
