Nope, it is not a particularly effective method - nothing against Imparts,
though.
I have one and used it for several years before buying a "push-type"
bleeder. The problem with the vacuum method is that it is VERY difficult to
get a perfectly tight fit at the caliper bleed nipple. As a result, you end
up sucking air in around that fitting and you never know if you have air in
your line or if it is coming in around the bleeder valve.
Spend a bit more and go with a system from, for example Steve D or a Roundel
advertiser.
