Ok I know all the racers use them, but can someone please explain why a
lightened fly wheel is going to matter when 98% of the time the whole drive
train from the harmonic balancer, crank, pistons, rods,flywheel, clutch,
transmission, driveshaft, diff, half shafts, hubs etc. are essentially tuning
as a unit? It seems to me that a light flywheel should only matter when
blipping the throttle for a down shift...?
