insurance and registration for a new M3

hey folks, 

i am wondering if any of you can suggest a good insurance provider for
me.  i am about to purchase a 99 M3 coupe (estoril blue).  
i obviously want the most affordable, yet dependable (full) coverage 
that i can find.  i live in Oakland CA, but will be driving/garaging the 
car for the next couple of months in Bellevue, WA.  in fact, i have 
residence in Bellevue for the time being.  

also, have any of you had experience registering a car in Oregon? ;)

if so, what technicalities should i anticipate besides a permanent 
address?
