RE: sending foreign funds for buying bmw parts in Europe

To pay outside the US with many seller's I've just used a credit card.  The
bank get a good wholesale exchange rate and then adds about 1%.  Not every
seller is equiped to accept VISA/Mastercharge cards, but the approach takes
care of a large % of the universe with a minimum of hassle.
