plastic scratch removal ???

I bought a 1988 ///M6. The previous owner put plastic headlight protector=

over the headlights.

I think the plastic protectors are a good idea, because they protect the
very expensive
headlights , but they are now very scratched.

My friend has a ///M3 convertible that the back plastic window is becomin=

scratched too.

I guess I could replace the headlight covers, but does anyone know if the=
re
is anything on the
market that will remove scratches from plastic ?
