RE: Driving your new M3

Why would you want to learn to drive your M3 stock before making any
mods? Hmmm...

You may not realize it yet, but you probably don't know how to drive the
car now. It'll make you look like a champ right off the bat. Miss your
turn-in by just a little? Just a little bit off-line? A little too much
throttle too early. Trail braking with just a little too much speed?

The M3 will look solid through all types of errors like these while
other cars will give you the feedback you really need much earlier (tire
squeal, understeer, oversteer, spin, off track excursion, etc.). Any
modification you make will ultimately raise the bar even higher. If the
stock M3 isn't there already, mod. upgrades will make the difference
between thinking you're in total control to flying out of control a
blink of the eye.

You don't want this with a brand new M3, do you? Didn't think so. Take
your stock M3 to multiple driver events, using a skidpad wheneven the
event/weather allows. You'll know when it's time to upgrade.
