RE: 17" spare tire.

Somebody asked what size, and if, a 17" wheel would fit in the trunk as 
a spare.

I call tell you that my car (95 M3) has a full-size (stock size as well) 
spare. It is a 235/40/17.  I don't know what kinda car you have as 
either you did not mention it or i missed it...but in an M3, a 235/40/17 
will fit for sure...although you would probably know that if you did 
have an M3...or you wouldn't ask...Check out the tire rack online and 
look at the tire specs..They will tell you the width and diameter of the 
tire..then measure your wheel bay and see if it wil fit mathmatically.
