Hey Drew (my boy's name),
The bolt pattern is the same but the hub hole is bigger on the E39 wheels
(something like 1.5mm) thus making them not hubcentric. I've heard of
spacers (or I guess inserts in this case) that have been made to
accommodate but it would probably be easier (and a lot cheaper) to find
some E34, E32, E31, E28, E24 or E23 wheels (basically any 5,6 or 7 series
MY...model year...heh heh...before 1995).
