Kenneth, I may be wrong, but an electric antenna won't fit where the
manual antenna exists.  I used to own a 79, and the antenna was the slim
manual-collapse type.  I tried, with no sucess, to find an aftermarket
electric antenna that would fit in that confined space.  The only option
available to me at the time was to have a hole cut in the rear, mount a
universal electric antenna, and run the wires to it.  Good luck if
there's another way!
