Hi there, sorry to hear about that uncalled for citation. Unfortunately
alot of police officers are like that (abuses their power), giving
incorrect tickets (something like that).
Let me tell you something, in the courts, the honor will always rely on
the officer, if he/she says you were doing at XXX at XXX speed, they'll
take the words of the officer.
Best bet is that you hire a lawyer (ticket clinic, or something like
that) and hopes the officer doesn't show up, or take chances of going to
court and hope the officer doesn't show up. Lastly (sounds like 4ever
doesn't it?) , go to court and plead No contest. The judge should give
you a lesser penalty.
Hey, i know it's not fair, better than paying full cost, and if you pay
full cost, that just means you are admitting you were guilty (which you
are not).
PS. Oh about like 2-3 months ago, I posted something about officers
getting commissions, Thank you Chip Irwin, you were right, I heard this
rumor through a friend of mine (which isn't reliable to listen).
