535 vs A4

We own a 96 Audi A4 2.8q slushbox (the wifes) and a 95 BMW 525i 5spd.
Comparing these cars is the proverbial Apples and Oranges!

We love our cars for different reasons....when the weather gets crappy - the
Audi wins every time (even with the 5ers ASC+T).
The A4 is smaller inside, the interior detail/design is better
(subjective!), the ride a little stiffish and noisy with the Goodyear RSA's,
steering a tad light and vague on center but, it handles and is solid. You
don't buy a car like this for 'performance".
The bimmer is larger inside with a pleasant and not intimidating or fussy
interior and as for the ride, well its a 5er ride with the steering turn in
a bit sluggish but, it handles and is solid. You don't buy a car like this
for "performance".  If you are comparing cars against your 535, sounds like
you should spend a little cash (upgrades?) and extra TLC on the car, fall in
love with it all over again and bank the cash!!!
