L6 info needed

A friend of mine asked if i could help her sell her 1987 L6.  I am
automotive and mechanically inclined, however,  i am BMW challenged so i
would appreciate some help witha few things.  1)  What is the general value
of these cars in the Dallas/Fort Worth area?  This car is black with light
gray interior, 89,000 miles, and appears to be in very good condition.  2)
How can you reset the inspection light (series of green, a yellow, then a
red LED)?  Is there a switch somewhere?  3) The check light for coolant is
on even though the coolant tank appears to be full.  Do these sensors tend
to give false readings or is there a sensor somewhere other than the coolant
overflow tank? Once again, thanks for any help.
