    Check the antenna connections at both the radio and the antenna
assembly.  Also check for proper grounding.  As for the cassette player,
have you tried cleaning the heads, pinch roller, and capstan?  If you
don't have a cleaning kit handy, use alcohol andQ-tip swabs.  Simply
apply a drop or two of alcohol to the swab and clean those items.  If
the swab becomes extremely dirty, repeat with a clean swab until no
further dirt is visible.  If your unit is removable or has a detachable
face, clean all of the electrical contact points.  If this does not
work, you may have a mechanical malfunction.
