OK, another DUMB one!

Since I am the 3rd owner of this 87 528e, there is no owners manual around.
I have killed a battery (lights on!) and now can not reset the time on the
OBC! What is weirder is that it has reverted to speaking German!

I kind of like having the temp in C, the volumes in litres, but I have NO
idea what Litres/100 km relates to!!!! 

Could someone e-mail me some basics on this OBC and its quarks?
