hmmm...most people upgrade their mufflers cause they *want* to hear that
throaty noise.
You really don't get a whole lot of power out of them, but if you want
"better" I'd suggest looking into a Supersprint exhaust. they tend to be
the best flowing and the quietest of the aftermarket exhausts...
Our you could spend the $500 on:
- - 4 days at the track
- - A nice set of speakers (since you're not focused on exhaust note).
- - An upgrade to stickier, more expensive tires next time around.
- - A set of sport shocks to improve the car's cornering
- - A hell of a tool starter set if you're a DIYer
etc, etc...
YMMV of course, but if you want the muffler, Supersprint will give you a
mellow note from an aftermarket exhaust.
