<e30> Hits the wallet again! DAMNIT!

	I have a e30 318i.  You probably noticed that earlier today i posted about
not getting heat, well now i have too much friggn heat, and it ain't coming
from the heater, or radiator.
	This has happened to me before, oh and it's a bitch.  Both times it's
happened after doing about 60ish, then full stop, turn, accelerating into
traffic.  The Exhaust pipe (i'm not sure if it's off the engine, or
somewhere in the line) but it comes loose, and i get this loud popping
sound (both times jumped out of the car to make sure no fluids were leaking
to indicate something worse).  Last time my mechanic said a bolt had come
off, and that he found it, and put it back on.  I'm guessing it's the same
thing again.  
	I want to know why it keeps coming loose, last time it happened was about
3 months ago.  First time i drove a mile, and it happened, second time
about 20, both times within 2 miles of home, go figure.  What happends if
i'm far from home?  I drive 60 miles in a direction at a time.
	Other things that maybe of help in figuring this one out.  Car will not
idle, have to gas it, and pop it into gear.  If i try to take it above 40,
it get's really shaky (probably from the sonic booms that it's giving off);
Top speed no mroe than 45, i try to keep it below 30 during these periods.
Strong smell of gas in exhaust from under, literally watching the gauge
drop 1/8 tank in 2 miles (maybe because my guage doesn't work properly,
maybe because of lack of compression).  SI lights, now here's a story.  My
mechanic doesn't have the reset tool, and i'm too lazy to do it by hand.
has all scheduled service done, ran great previously.  Since it wasn't
reset the past inspections and 3 oil changes, it was on the amber/red
light, as soon as this happend, i notice amber/red/red don't know if this
was just by chance due to milage, but i thought i'd point that out.  

Hopefully someone out there will know why this happends.  It's not like i
drive the car that hard.......maybe i should keep my mouth shut.
