Reliable A/C work shouldn't fall under the standard DIY jobs, in my opinion.
Any refrigerant is highly hygroscopic (absorbs water), much worse than brake
fluid and moisture will become a "non-condensible" within the system.
Ensuring the water is out of the system requires a special vacuum pump and a
high vacuum to be pulled on the refrigerant circuit.  Read as "Water in system
sucks!"
