Hey Cary Can't get R-12? Maybe as a non EPA certified technician, but the same would be true of 134-A. R-12 is readily available for a small fortune at any A/C shop, and will be for some time. The manufacturing of R-12 has stopped, but most places kept a load and a half, especially car manufacturers to deal with warranty claims. Expect to pay $30-50 /lb.
