You're on the right track for the Check Engine diagnosis cycle; pump the gas
with the key on in position 1 five times and watch for the fireworks. As you
might already know, the cycle will begin with 4 blinks and then go through 4
sequences of blinking. I wish I had Brett Anderson''s website handy; I think
the codes are deciphered there. Post them if you get 'em and someone will
