<E28> Speed Limiter?

I have a few questions..... I heard the E28 535's have a speed limiter, is
this true? Is it in the ECU? Is there anyway to "disarm" it? Not like I'll
be going over 140 that often, but it could happen! So before I start a big
discussion on whether it is correct to go that fast (please lets not). I am
just wondering to satisfy my own curiousity. Thanks
