"You" is a generalization and contains no specificity.  I suspect that
no one on the digest would have known which of "you" have blue lights
installed on "your" car if "you" hadn't piped up and admitted to it-not

I like cops, even though most all my experiences with them have been
bad. What we need are fashion police.  Maybe just empower the regular
police.  Someone riding around with neon lights, curb feelers, a
non-functional whale tale, or big wheels and spacers on a tercel, the
police can beat the.....  I'm just kidding (for all you know).  

So fake blue lights on a bmw make you a "one percenter"?  I guess a
mercedes with chrome would be a Pagan.  Get ready for a rumble at the
Starbucks.  Expect to get a call from Hunter S. Thompson soon, or Ken
Kesey if you add multi-colored neon.  At least your car is faster than a
harley (what isn't?).

BMW content?  people on the highway already dislike us bc of the car we
drive, I get smartass comments everyday. don't agitate them further.
also, I would like to upgrade my headlights to the best visibility that
won't risk damage tot he car, battery etc and won't blind oncoming
traffic.  What is the definitive upgrade (part no. or brand and model
appreciated) for someone looking for better function at low cost?  I've
considered upping the wattage on the brights and leaving the dims stock
- - any recommendations?  Should I be checking out a faq?

The real question is, of course, what color is the best aphrodisiac?
Black light, of course!
