If you have been driving around with a stiff clutch pedal for a while make
sure that you check the bracket that the clutch pedal assembly attaches to.
The excessive pedal effort will stress the bracket and cause it to potentially
crack. It is possible to get in there and weld it up, but you need a REAL
competent shop to not set the car on fire or burn all the components around
the lower steering column.
