The 959 had a traditional 6-speed (low gear was
labeled "G" for the German word "Gelande" or
off-road) with the traditional clutch. I saw one
of these once in Europe and spent 15 minutes
oogling it. There may have possibly been some
prototype versions w/ sequential shift, but the
production run had traditional gearbox.
