Faithful Readers:

Wow!  After two weeks (is that all) of hellatiously (sp?) long boring posts
and rebuttals, I must say that the last few days have really been
enjoyable.  I think the post about parking and dings was great because
ANYONE can relate and share a story -- no excuse for lurking.  All of a
sudden it seems like the humor is back, the helpful ideas are back, and
there is just a little flaming going on.  Now I remember why I like this
Digest so much.

BTW, I just filled up the tank and reset gas consumption.  I got 6 mpg just
sitting there!  Pretty impressive.

FWIW, when we got our '97 328i w/4000 miles, we didn't really want to pay
$500 each for a computer and heated seats, despite living in Chicago.  I'm
amazed that people would consider spending the time and money to install
seat heaters themselves.  I guess it's a labor of love.  Back to the
regularly scheduled programming.

PS - the 911 hibernates in the winter (actually since last Sunday), and the
328 w/snows and Camry will have to get us thru the winter.
