Chip gains and the Eram challenge... The EPROM various tuners offer for
the E28 M5 claim a 49HP gain at 6000 RPM (give or take a couple the big D
vs JC...) Note to Mark that this is not at the factory horsepower peak for
this car....The area under the curve thing that we started with about 785
postings ago.... Mark, you have been incorrect in quoting " 535 from 240
to 290 HP..." The Us M5 claims 256 HP stock and high 290's chipped....The
chip does not make its biggest gain at the peak values. Mark, read this
slow and think about it for a minute before responding. I am not even
close to a Motrinic expert so don't flame me for quoting published
figures. I do however have some faith in claims made by people who have a
reputation on the line. Now you have a unique chance here to do nothing
but improve your reputation by not responding to this list in the manner
you have been....The offer to run my car stands, the conditions I put on
that offer are to keep it from being a waste of MY time. Hell I would
probably even buy a video or two if you show'd up....
