I agree, usually you need close to 500 hp to reach the 200 mph barrier.  =

		This Viper belongs to Tony Estes, president of the Southwest Viper Club
chapter in Phoenix and owner of Desert Venum Racing.  His car does have
significant aerodynamic mods and headers but the engine is essentially
stock.  This is not a 600hp Hennesey car...hp is probably between 475-500.
  He participates in many sanctioned racing events including some of those
high speed open road races.  He claims to have been clocked at 204mph in
one of his 3 Vipers.  

Now if you really want some high speed Detroit iron, wait until
Lingenfelter comes out with his next project in the spring.  Hopefully our
Porsche 380mm GT2 endurance brakes will be on this car.  SD
