>Good news for the Digest is you will be otherwise occupied. Right now
www.innovations.com is like you, a blank page offering nothing."

>>>>>>>>>it will be INNOVENTIONS.ORG , sorry. Available next week with
all of the commonly asked questions probably starring JIM. I've got to
hand it to you, that was the best of the insults yet. You sit back and
witness all of the bantering and then like the scardy- cat in the back of=

the room , after the fight is over , you shout ," and let that be a less=
on
to you !" =

You go one and talk about fixing your lame spedometer. That's all we wan=
t
to hear about . I thought this thread was to discuss ways in which you=

can improve performance of the cars you all love so much. If you would=

look at your intake system, you are thinking , " wow cams, intake runner=
s,
throttle bodies, CHIPS, maybe Ill remove the AfM" This device , the
Electric ram air will do almost do same thing but at a lower price poin=
t.
If you can belive the dyno runs which are a true test of performance
increases, it works and works as it should. If you don't think you need
another 4 % , don't worry about it. But if you are like me and others tha=
t
want the most bang for the buck. This may be good for you. (especially ,=

since the 325 s are congested pretty well) =

For me, I just continue to keep on adding HP on. 4% by 4%. Some work,
some don't. But make no mistake, 5 -or 6 ponnies on a 325 or M3 is like
tossing your girlfrend out the door before a race. =

By the way, do you rally that car , or is it just a show piece to get
girls. Or maybe it is a show piece to get looks because you are married=
=2E =

In any event, it may as well be a honda civic if you don't get it on the=

track once in a while.

So, when your ego shrinks down to size, check out the web page. Just
facts and some jpegs of the device in action. =

Open your mind, it works it works and is not a bogus deal like the turboz=
et
or tornado =

I run it on the track every other weekend, and wouldn't run without it. =

(why would I want to toss out 9 hp just because you think it is a leaf
blower) By the way, it really does do a number on leaves. About 2 tim=
es
more powerfull that most leaf blowers, it could be used remotely if you
didn't have an extention cord.
Great if you live in the midwest or east. I use the prototype for that=

reason , all the time.

Now , you can read below and discuss how you need tweezers to fix a broke=
n
speedometer. Knock yourself out . =

Mark with the ERAM going on the E 30 soon to be race car.

Is this absolutely the LAST inane posting on this subject that =

readers of this digest will have to tolerate? In fact, now that I =

think about it, you probably should have paged down through this one.

And now, for something completely different -- BMWs!

Can't remember the name of the person who posted a problem regarding =

the speedo on his 325. I believe it was an E30. Apparently, the =

problem is that the needle likes to jump about whenever he hits a =

Pothole. Had pretty much the same experience with an '85 318i a few =

years ago. Eliminated most of the 'standard' causes and ultimately =

pinned it down to the gauge (mechanical) mechanism itself. =

Disassembled the entire instrument cluster and removed the speedo =

gauge. Then, disassembled the speedo itself. Ultimately, it =

required repair of one of the tiny 'watch-like' springs. Used a =

low-wattage soldering iron. Don't remember how long it took, but I =

remember it being a real pain in the ass. On the plus side, it =

worked like a charm after that. E-mail me separately if you need =

more info. It's been a few years, though.
