<E30> gas & normal shocks

Bilstein warns: "Don't mix gas and regular shocks on the same car."

I'm doing the rear tomorrow, but as the struts up front are more
complicated, they're going to have to wait until the weekend.  So I'll
be driving for a couple of days on a "mixed" suspension.  Am I stupid
to do this?  Or is this just standard product disclaimer stuff.
