Fake blowers

     I could write long paragraphs about how a true electric supercharging
system actually *is* possible but would require a huge custom alternator,
an industrial DC motor in the trunk, and many thousand dollars worth of
custom electronic controls. But it's a lot easier just to say this:
     Find an old car that has a fan without a clutch. Rev the engine to
5000rpm with the hood open. Feel the airflow. Now turn the interior fan on
"high." Feel the airflow from that. That's the difference between an
engine-driven air mover and an electric motor-driven air mover.
