e28 528e glove box problem

Hello again,
Dave here again with another 528e problem. During the weekend I closed the
glove box and wasn't able to open it again. Seems latch mechanism is broken
but I cant release the latch to get it open to replace it. Is there a way to
open it without destroying the glove box.
