<E32> Snow Tire recommendation?

My friend (not on the digest) was wondering what brand and size of snow tire
to go with on his newly acquired 1994 740i.  He has had Blizzaks on his 5
series up here (in Albany, NY) and was wondering if he should go with the
Guardex or P210's this time.

Also what size do you guys suggest.  He has the stock wheels.
