It wasn't a 70's era Kawasaki...it is a 90's era Kawasaki. The CHP is just
now switching over to BMW motors. Seems Kawasaki's bid was too high. BMW
and Harley-Davidson's respective bids were almost identical. That is until
Harley noted that mandatory services would be required, which upped the bid
substantially.
I just love my Bimmer, but when it comes to motorcyles...it's Harley all
the way!
