Re: BMW CCA in NJ?

You can find information about the NJ Chapter BMW CCA at:

		www.njbmwcca.org

The NJ Chapter has approximately 1800 members, making the 5th or 6th largest
chapter in the US (behind a few CA chapters, the NCC, and only a little
smaller than NY).

There are monthly meetings, rallys, driver schools, autocrosses and social
events such as banquets and picnic. The annual picnic draws more than
300 members and their guests.

The NJ Chapter has been running driver schools for 25 years (1999 is the
25th anniversary) which are well-known for their quality. In 1999 there
will probably be 4 days at Lime Rock (2 1-day events and a 2-day combined
driver school and race), and six or more days at Summit Point, including
a 3-day school on the big track and a club race. NJ Chapter members get
a 1-day head start on the applications for these schools, which sell-out
quickly (the Lime Rock schools generally sell out early on the first day).

Benefits of joining the BMW CCA include the colorful and thick Roundel and
discounts at most BMW dealer's parts counters and many other BMW-related
businesses. Soon there will be rebates from $500-2500 (or in that range)
on all new BMW purchases from BMW NA, but you must have been a member for
some period of time first, perhaps a year.

The BMW CCA's web site is:
